Today's Bible Study-

Exodus 15- Sing!

Romans 4- Abraham's Justification by Faith

4742 recorded steps yesterday. Busy day.

Y says long e only at the end of a multi-syllable word.

On schedule for next week:
  • Mount Never Rest (laundry)
  • Weekly Home blessing
  • Work in the kitchen and store room.
  • Start working in the yard and garden
  • List some more books with eBay and mail what sells this week.
  • List stuff with Craigslist.
  • Decide on events for both the church and my business.  (:-) found some Facebook pages that will help this! May have one lined up for June 9)
  • Pull music for worship service
  • Set up pinned posts on my FB LillaRose page
  • Start using Cinchshare for other things than the church and LR
  • Finish Romans 5

Flexi of the Day:

For my Daily routines, see the sidebar.

Monthly Habit we are building:

Making our Beds every day.

This is something I have done for a long time. It really does make the whole house seem cleaner.

Weekly Home Blessing

  • Take all the trash out of the house (which we do every day, not weekly)
  • Change the sheets (Everyone is responsible for their own bed except my 6yo who is too short to reach his loft bed well enough to make it)
  • 10 minutes feather dusting the house (don't own a feather duster. Need to fix that. Meanwhile, set the timer and cloth dust for 10 minutes.)
  • Shine the windows and door glass (Takes less than 10 minutes in my house.)
  • Recycle magazines and catalogs (Which I do through out the week, tossing after just a day or two in the house)
  • Vacuum the middle of the floors (needs to be done daily, or minimum every other day, in our house. 11 people in 1400' home with no sidewalks [just dirt around the entry] just has too much dirt to wait a whole week)
  • quick mop the kitchen and bathrooms (You know, I think this may need to be done daily too, at least in the kitchen and dining room)

      Weekly zone focus:

Kitchen, Laundry Room, Store Room

(This is the zone we are tackling all our monthly and less often chores in this week)

Today's Meals:

  • Hot Dogs
  • Nachoes unless Hubby is in the mood to take everyone to In N Out.
  • Loaded Chicken

FlyLady Daily Mission

  • Have fun with your family

Tami's assignments (Tami is a homeschooling mom of 6 who is a partner of FlyLady):

  • Have fun with your family

"To take the first step in faith, you don't have to see the whole staircase: just take the first step." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This applies to a clean house, too.

"Anything worth doing is worth doing Imperfectly" - Flylady

"Baby Steps."

"You can do anything for 15 minutes."

"You are not behind. Just jump in where you are."

"Your house didn't get this way overnight. It won't get under control in a day. It takes time."

How about you? What's on your list today?

Have a great day!

I highly recommend

Thank you so much for commenting! I love to talk to my readers.

I do ask that there be no anonymous commenters, though. If I am brave enough to put my name on this blog, you should be too:-)

Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
