Today's Bible Study- Genesis 49- Joseph Dies
and Romans 3

Today's Hymn

2875 steps recorded yesterday. Not feeling real well.

How moral is it for the self appointed elite to deliberately keep the "peasants" ignorant so they can be more easily manipulated, even if it is supposed to be fore the benefit of the country?

See Say reading had already been tested and found to be a failure among hearing students (It was invented to teach the deaf, who have a hard time learning to read with phonics) when it was forced into the government schools.

For that matter, we had a 98% literacy rate before the passage of the first compulsory attendance law (which has been falling ever since), and the system our schools were patterned after was designed to produce obedient soldiers, not literacy.

Government schools are not broken at all. They are functioning exactly as they were designed; producing a large population of people who are so incapable of thinking for themselves they can be easily confused as to which bathroom they should use! And if they can be indoctrinated to become mindless consumers, so much the better!

Did you know that English words do not end in I, V, U, or J? So, if you hear these sounds at the end of a word, you know to add a silent e (V, U), use dge (J), or change the I to Y. (however, English mugs other languages in the back alley and riffles their pockets for spare grammar and vocabulary. So, some words we have taken from other languages retain the original spelling. Thus, spaghetti, an Italian word, ends in I).

Exception: for slang words we sometimes ignore this rule (i.e. Hi!)

Did the shopping yesterday, like normal. Got some little things done.

Still on schedule for this week:
  • Finish getting the living room back in order.
  • Mount Never Rest (laundry)
  • Decide on events for both the church and my business.  (Sigh. No time to look yet. Need to bring some money into my business, but I don't have any parties or events scheduled)
  • Still have to do the videos
  • Exchange son #1's sim card for one that fits. Did talk to tech support and a SIM that fits is supposed to be on the way.
  • Declutter 3 armloads of books from the car.(or go through drawers. Or both. One dresser is empty on the inside.)
  • Get some packages ready to mail. All done. Just need to go to the post office Monday.
  • Cut up some veggies for snacks.
  • Fixed up my new "Display Purse." This is a large bag with clear vinyl on the side to put pictures, or in my case, Flexi's in so I can be a walking billboard.

Aren't they gorgeous?

Now, I don't at the moment see anyway I can qualify since I have no events or parties scheduled right now, but you CAN! Signing up as a stylist and buying the "Fast Start Kit" above automatically qualifies you for the incentive!

  • The Stylist incentive Free!

For my routines, see the sidebar.

Monthly Habit we are building:

Get dressed every morning to the shoes.

Flylady began working with mostly stay at home moms. We SAHM often have the problem with this (I never have, but I understand why others do). It really does make a difference to get dressed each day.

(I am not going to wear shoes. I'm just not. Call me a rebel. I will wear socks when it is cold.)

Weekly zone focus:

Kitchen and pantry, both need some decluttering and extra cleaning, but I don't know that I'll get to them. We bought all new mattresses for the girls and they should arrive today. This is part of what is keeping the house a mess, as we have stuff in the living room waiting to change their mattresses out.
Updated: they still haven't arrived. Blahh.

(This is the zone we are tackling all our monthly and less often chores in this week)

Today's Meals:

  • SOS (Search or Starve)
  • SOS
  • Home Made Pizza! (with three boys working for the Pizza Factory, the quality of our homemade pizzas has gone up.)

Today's FlyLady Mission:

  • Family Fun Day

Tami's assignments (Tami is a homeschooling mom of 6 who is a partner of FlyLady):

    • Ditto

"To take the first step in faith, you don't have to see the whole staircase: just take the first step." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This applies to a clean house, too.

"Anything worth doing is worth doing Imperfectly" - Flylady

    "Baby Steps."

"You can do anything for 15 minutes."

"You are not behind. Just jump in where you are."

"Your house didn't get this way overnight. It won't get under control in a day. It takes time."

How about you? What's on your list today?

    Have a great day!

    I highly recommend

Thank you so much for commenting! I love to talk to my readers.

I do ask that there be no anonymous commenters, though. If I am brave enough to put my name on this blog, you should be too:-)

Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
