12 Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the I AM thy God gives thee.

Today's Bible Study-

Exodus 20- Commandment #5: Honor Your ParentsRomans 5- Faith Brings Peace and Joy
Today's work in Romans 6
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may [be made more visible]

2 Of course not! How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer in it?

3 Don't you know, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

When we are baptized, it is a sign we have chosen to make Christ our Boss. This makes us part of His death, burial, and resurrection. Going down into the water symbolizes being buried in the dirt, and coming up out of the water symbolizes rising from the grave.
Today's Hymn  Revives Us Again. Written by a man who rebelled against God during his mother's life, despite her fervent prayers for his salvation. Years later he was given the Bible of a man who had just died in his hospital, only to discover it was the same Bible his mother had given him and he had sold (his name was written on the inside cover in his mother's handwriting.) He got the point and began serving God.

5719 recorded steps yesterday.

Cold, but clear.

"Baby Steps."

"You can do anything for 15 minutes."

"You are not behind. Just jump in where you are."

"Your house didn't get this way overnight. It won't get under control in a day. It takes time."

How about you? What's on your list today?

Do you use a feather duster? Do you like it?

Have a great day!

Thank you so much for commenting! I love to talk to my readers.

I do ask that there be no anonymous commenters, though. If I am brave enough to put my name on this blog, you should be too:-)

Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
