1 And He said to Moses, “Come up to the I Am, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from a distance.”

God now calls for all the leaders of Israel to come up the mountain to worship Him.

2 “And Moses alone shall come near the I AM, but the others will not come near, neither shall the people go up with him.”

Only Moses was to come close to God. The others were to stay a distance away.

Exodus 24- Up the Mountain

Romans 7

Today's work in Romans

From

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

To

9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God really lives in you. Now if anyone doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

10 And if Christ is in you, though the body is still subject to death because of the curse of sin, the spirit receives life because of righteousness.

11 But if the same Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead lives in you, then He that raised up Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life again by the Spirit that lives in you.

6466 recorded steps yesterday.

Been a busy weekend and its not going to get better.

Hubby bought me some planters and tomato plants for Mother's Day :-) Yeah!

Hubby is doing a special class for work this week, which means he leaves later in the morning and gets home earlier (taking my writing time for the week).

Because of his school, he will get off early Friday, so we are going camping. Well, Hubby, the girls, my 6yo, and I are going camping. My adult boys have to work and can't go. So, I need to get ready to go this week.

I'm taking a friend out to lunch for her birthday, and need to see if I can fix the printers in the house.

Add in everything else I need to do, and, well, it's going to be a busy week.

To Do:
  • all the normal chores
  • clean out the cars so I can mothball the volvo wagon that will take too much money to fix and have a couple other storage vehicles hauled off.
  • Call to have the one that's clean off
  • finish setting up the newsletters for the blogs I am doing
  • switch my son's phone
  • finish prepping the beds for planting
  • list things with craigslist

Tuh Done (what I've finished for the week):

  • Pull music for worship service
  • water my trees
  • make the puppy gates
  • Set up loyalty cards for BeST Clips
NO MORE FRIENDS, NO MORE WALKS, NO MORE HAPPINESS
The Bible says to abstain from teh very appearance of evil. This is not a "What will the neighbors think?" kind of command, but, abstaining fro the appearance of evil usually keeps you out of the temptation to fall into evil. Don't know why this author didn't use this scripture, but otherwise, good article.

My take? Newborns absolutely must be nursed on demand. No exceptions. But older babies need to be eased onto a schedule. There is a big difference between a newborn crying because he is hungry and a 9 month old doing the same.

A PRIMER FOR MEN: PICK UP YOUR CLOTHES…

For my Daily routines, see the sidebar.

Monthly Habit we are building:

Moving for 10 minutes a day

I try to walk around the block everyday we have school. That takes 25 minutes (half of it is up hill, so slow). I need to find a way to get my moving in on non-school days.

Weekly zone focus:

Main Bath plus one other room (this month, the kids rooms, which we did last month)
(This is the zone we are tackling all our monthly and less often chores in this week)

Today's Meals:

  • SOS
  • SOS
  • Chicken and rice

FlyLady Daily Mission

My version that fits my house

"Do it Now."

"To take the first step in faith, you don't have to see the whole staircase: just take the first step." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This applies to a clean house, too.

"Anything worth doing is worth doing Imperfectly" - Flylady

"Baby Steps."

"You can do anything for 15 minutes."

"You are not behind. Just jump in where you are."

"Your house didn't get this way overnight. It won't get under control in a day. It takes time."

How about you? What's on your list today?

Do you use a feather duster? Do you like it?

Have a great day!

Thank you so much for commenting! I love to talk to my readers.

I do ask that there be no anonymous commenters, though. If I am brave enough to put my name on this blog, you should be too:-)

Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
