1 You will make an altar to burn incense on of acacia  wood.

2 It will be 18" x 18" and three feet tall with horns in the corners carved from the same piece of wood.

3 And you will cover it with pure gold, top and sides all around, including the horns. Make a molding of gold around the top.

Today's Bible Study-
Exodus 30- perfumes
Romans 7

Today's work in Romans

From

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

To

28 And we know that God works all things together for good for those who love Him, for those who are the called according to His purpose.

29 Because God established boundaries for all He knew beforehand would choose Him to make them share the same [inner essence, identity, behavior, essential nature] as His Son, so that Christ would be the firstborn among many brothers.

30 What's more, whoever He pre-decided to be made into Christ's [inner essence, identity, behavior, essential nature], He also invited to Him. And whoever He invited, He made right with Him. And whoever He made right with Him, He gave His glory to.

? recorded steps yesterday. Didn't wear the phone/

It has been raining for an entire day. Very unusual for us! The water is much appreciated.

To Do:
  • grocery shopping
  • Pick up chicken feed (a much bigger deal now that the local feed store has closed. It means we have to go all the way into town)
  • all the normal chores
  • put price tags on all my inventory
  • switch my son's phone
  • finish prepping the beds for planting
  • list things with craigslist
  • catch up medical records to include chicken pox

Tuh Done (what I've finished for the week):

  • listed my bedroom furniture with craigslist. No bites yet :-(
  • did a detailed inventory of my Lilla Rose stuff. (I have decided that I need to go back to a detailed inventory to better protect myself from accusations of credit card fraud)
  • Pulled music for worship service
  • watered my trees
  • made the puppy gates
  • Set up loyalty cards for BeST Clips

Egalitarianism’s dirty secret: the sexual objectification of women

Poverty or simplicity?School shootings, teacher's strikes, anxious kids; solution? eliminate cumpulsory schooling

Flylady often blames our mothers for why we don't dust, but I disagree. My mother never made me dust, much less "dust the right way," (move everything off, wipe the shelf down, put everything back after cleaning it). I think "dusting the right way" is just unpleasant work (like cleaning a toilet). No one enjoys it by the nature of being human. I do agree using the feather duster is fun, though. It makes the job much better. Oh, it doesn't get all the dust and what it does get a good deal is just wiped off the shelf onto the floor. But, duuhhh, dust first, then vacuum up what you knocked off. So much nicer. Not perfect, but nicer.

For my Daily routines, see the sidebar.

Monthly Habit we are building:

Moving for 10 minutes a day

I try to walk around the block everyday we have school. That takes 25 minutes (half of it is up hill, so slow). I need to find a way to get my moving in on non-school days.

Weekly zone focus:

Master Bedroom
(You know, my "moods to clean" run about a week behind Flylady's schedule. I think the week of reading about doing a zone makes me want to tackle it. I may just set my zones to be a week behind hers and work with it instead of trying to focus on what she says.)
(This is the zone we are tackling all our monthly and less often chores in this week)

Today's Meals:

  • SOS
  • SOS
  • hamburger helper? (homemade from scratch)

FlyLady Daily Mission:

  • Dust the master bedroom (which I did yesterday)

Tami's assignments (Tami is a homeschooling mom of 6 who is a partner of FlyLady):

  • ditto
Ok, so, since my house is different from anyone elses (whose isn't?) I think I will begin making my own missions at the beginning of the week. I'll take Flylady and Tami's assignments and evaluate my house, picking what I need to do the most in each zone.

My Daily Mission:

  • Grocery shopping
  • Full clean in preparation for a long weekend

"Do it Now."

"To take the first step in faith, you don't have to see the whole staircase: just take the first step." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This applies to a clean house, too.

"Anything worth doing is worth doing Imperfectly" - Flylady

"Baby Steps."

"You can do anything for 15 minutes."

"You are not behind. Just jump in where you are."

"Your house didn't get this way overnight. It won't get under control in a day. It takes time."

How about you? What's on your list today?

Do you use a feather duster? Do you like it?

Have a great day!

I highly recommend Flylady.com

Thank you so much for commenting! I love to talk to my readers.

I do ask that there be no anonymous commenters, though. If I am brave enough to put my name on this blog, you should be too:-)

Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
