Exodus 22:16 And if a man seduces a virgin that is not engaged to anyone, and has sex with her, he will pay the normal bride price and marry her.

If a man coerces an unattached woman to have sex with him, he is to “make an honest woman of her” by marrying her.

17 If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he shall still pay the normal bride price.

Daddy would be able to tell, theoretically, if this is true love between the two or if it was closer to rape. Either way, the man had to pay the dowry.

Today's Bible Study-

Exodus 22d- Sexual Coersion, Beastiality, Incest

Romans 6

Today's work in Romans

13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

13 So was the Law, which is good, kill me? Of course not! Sin used the good Law as a tool to kill me. This showed sin to be as terrible as it really is. It turns what is good into a weapon for evil.

Today's Hymn  Rescue the Perishing

6786 recorded steps yesterday.

So far behind! Yesterday I called a teacher in service day and worked for an hour on the computer, then 15 minutes cleaning house, back to the computer for an hour. I did get a lot done, but not nearly enough.

To Do:
  • Pull music for worship service
  • finish setting up the newsletters for the blogs I am doing
  • switch my son's phone
  • order new eye drops
  • fix my display purse
  • weekly home blessing

Tuh Done (what I've finished for the week):

  • Got two of the newsletters ready to go.
  • got stuff posted to fb
  • pay church bills
  • finish the aid pamphlet (completely forgot!)
  • monthly printing
  • finished a new type of check list for chores.
  • spent way too much time learning all the new stuff for Lilla Rose that they announced at the Convention last week.

For my Daily routines, see the sidebar.

Monthly Habit we are building:

Moving for 10 minutes a day

I try to walk around the block everyday we have school. That takes 25 minutes (half of it is up hill, so slow). I need to find a way to get my moving in on non-school days.

How about you? What's on your list today?

Do you use a feather duster? Do you like it?

Have a great day!

Thank you so much for commenting! I love to talk to my readers.

I do ask that there be no anonymous commenters, though. If I am brave enough to put my name on this blog, you should be too:-)

Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
