What would it take?

Is there anything the schools could do to make you take your children (biological, or if you are in the leadership of a church, the children in your congregation) out of the public schools? Are you in the schools no matter what? Is there anything they could do that would be the final straw and make you quit? Where is your line of tolerance?

I will tell you, my line was passed while I was still in school myself. I realized that though no teacher stood in front of the class and said “there is no God,” that they were teaching us just that (even the Christian ones) because they were leaving God out of History and Science especially. I was only 16 when I coined the phrase “To teach without God is to teach there is no God.” Does anyone think the schools have gotten better in the last quarter century since I left school? Have they become more godly since then?

THE BIBLE SAYS:
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy is understanding.” Proverbs 9:10 Not the fear of an F.

“In (Christ) are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:3 God is where we will find all the answers to life, not in human designed schools.

“Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward.” Psalms 127:3 Your children are presants from God. you are answerable to Him for everything they learn, including the swear words from the play ground.

“And thou shalt teach them (God’s Words) diligently unto thy children and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” Deuteronomy 6:7 In other words, every waking moment. There is no time left here for not teaching God’s words (well, maybe while in the bathroom.)

“…Bringing into captivity EVERY thought (including math and spelling) to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5 Does every thought mean EVERY THOUGHT?

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2 We should not look like our neighbors. We should look very different (and I don’t mean physically, but in the structure of our families and our relationships)

“Fathers (Parents)… bring them (your children) up in the nurture (culture) and admonition (education) of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4 Is there ANYONE out there who believes our government schools present the culture of God or educate children in Him?

“He that is not with Me (Jesus) is against Me: and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth…” Luke 11:23 There is no neutrality, no middle ground. We are either working for God or we are working against Him.

“…if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God who gives liberally.” James 1:5

“I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 Even teach your own children.

If you are in the leadership of a church, where is your school for those who really can’t teach their own? It doesn’t take much to open a school. will you be able to stand before God and explain why His little children in your congregation were taught that He is irrelevant to their lives? Will you have a good enough excuse for not having a school in those Sunday school classrooms during the week?

A very serious video. These things are hard to say and hard to hear but we need to hear them.

You do realize that our schools are not good enough for our president’s children. Nor for our senators’ children. Nor our congressman’s children. Nor governor, state representatives, mayors, etc.

  1. Your cruelty even extends to Christian teachers working in public schools? Where is your humanity, woman?

  2. Christians teaching in public schools are missionaries in a forgien land. They msut be very careful to not be too open about their witnessing or they will be fired. At least they won't loose their head like those in Muslim countries. I have NEVER said Christians shouldn't teach in public school. Mature, adult, seasoned, christians belong in the system.

What I object to is sacraficing our children to the god of "government education." For most families there are many, many options. They may have to buy a used car instead of a new one, or move to a smaller house, but there are options. (Math problem: the average private school costs $3000 per year. That is $250 a month spread over twelve months. Two, brand new car payments (the norm in this country for most families) come to roughly $600 per month. If where you spend your money tells your priorities, then most CHRISTIAN couples obviously value new cars more than their children's education and, really, salvation.)

A big missing link in the issue is the churches. Many, many churches spend thousands of dollers per year on "outreach" programs while they are loosing 85% of the children in their congregation. Hmmm, 80% of Christians send their children to heathen schools.

The churches need to take that outreach money and "remove the 2x4 from their own eye" so to speak, by opening schools for their children in the very Sunday School classes they have already spent 10 or 100s of thousands of dollers to build and that sit empty all week long. Once they are truly doing all they can to give the children in their congregation a truly Christian education, THEN they can use what is left to evangalize.

But you know what? I don't think they will need to. When God's church obeys Him, He blesses. People will come to God when WE begin to obey Him and stop giving excuses to be like the heathens.

If you don't like it, talk to the Boss. I am just the messenger.

Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
