I am a racist | The Matt Walsh Blog

Ok, have I mentioned I like this guy's blog?

I am a racist | The Matt Walsh Blog
I didn't vote for Clinton (one of the few people on the planet with lighter skin than I have). I didn't vote for Gore. I didn't vote fore Mondale, Kerry, or any of the other "also rans." Yet somehow, any disapproval of BO is entirely because of skin color.

Uhh, no. I am not a socialist and I don't give a hoot if the person is green with purple polka-dots, I won't vote for a socialist. Period.

Articles: Is Opposition to Obama Racist?
Actually the whole assumption that opposition to BO is racist is based on the belief that we are all too stupid to see beyond skin color to a persons policies, beliiefs, and character.

And notice how it's always the Dem's who bring up race? I can't remember ever hearing a Rep start that discussion. It's almost like the only ones who care about race enough to notice are the Dems.Hmmmm.....

Exposing racist violence in America
The mainstream media doesn't talk about it but there is an upswing in black-on-both black and white violence. Is it racist to point this out? Is it really racist to arrest more blacks simply because they behave in more violent, anti-social behavior?

No, it's not racist. a Truly color-blind society would arrest whoever does the crime with no regard or notice of the persons color.  We would expect everyone to be able to hold to a civilized standard of behavior. Instead, we don't really seem to think people with darker skin have the ability to control themselves and must be cut some slack because it's not their fault.

Why is that opinion not racist?

'Encourage marriage for sake of children'

'Encourage marriage for sake of children' says judge Sir Paul Coleridge to Duncan Smith | Mail Online

The fact is that, political correctness aside, studies all say that a God-designed marriage (one adult man and one adult woman) is the best format for children. Kids from this type of family just simply grow up more mentally stable, secure, self-confident, smarter, healthier, and are far less likely to get involved in drugs, sex, alcohol and gangs.

This is just the truth.

So if we as a society really care about kids we will do all we can to encourage couples to get married BEFORE baby is born and to stay together once they are married.

Our current way of doing things puts the "interests" of adults way ahead of the interests of children.

Some call for bigger tax breaks and other ways to reduce financial pressures on young couples because these pressures are certainly a major contributing factor in most breakups. I certainly think this would help (though if the government weren't doing unconstitutional things they wouldn't need the unconstitutional money of income taxes in the first place.)

I also think we need to acknowledge that marriage is not for the adult's enjoyment but for the raising of tomorrow's citizens. This puts a whole different slant on many of our "marriage" issues.

We as a culture need to quit our naval gazing and start making decisions based on what is best for the weakest among us, not the strongest.

The Truth About Women That Feminists Don’t Want You to Know

LAF/Beautiful Womanhood » The Truth About Women That Feminists Don’t Want You to Know
The true history of the power of women. It's not what you think.

I open doors for women because I adore the feminine genius | The Leading Edge
If a man opens a door for me I take it in the spirit it is intended: a sign of respect.

Honestly, feminists, a man holds the door for the president of the US and that is respect but he does so for a woman and it is sexism? You are hurting your own cause here.

Book on 'submissive wives' becomes hit in Spain - Telegraph
This book simply discusses what the Bible teaches about submission. The Spainish government is being pressured into banning it.

Men were given by God two instincts:
  • Win the competition
  • Protect the weak
The competition can be against the weather in farming, the animal he is hunting, the enemy he is fighting or the woman who is trying to bully him. Same instinctive response.

The "weak" are the physically weaker (women, children, handicapped, elderly).

A woman who quits competing with her man and submits to him will find him becoming her biggest champion and promoter. How else would he protect her?

Are Men Irrational For Opting Out Of Education, Careers And Families?
Nope. What do they have to gain from them?
Used to be they got a woman who was "theirs," including sex, children that they could raise and be proud of, and a home and possessions they could value and build up.

Due to the attitude of our culture men can get sex anytime they want, never have the right to claim pride in wife or kids, and can lose it all if wifey decided the grass is greener elsewhere (most divorces are initiated by the woman).

Why should he work that hard?

Daughters and Sex | National Review Online
Feminism's sexual "freedom" is really a belief that all men are sleeping around all the time and so all women should do the same.

How insulting to the majority of men!

Most men have always wanted one woman who was his. They don't sleep around at all.

But feminism has convinced women to behave like the worst cads of our world. How sad.

Trickles and tax cuts

"Trickle Down Theory" Doesn't exist. No one advocates such none sense.

Here is what conservatives are actually saying:

When you raise tax rates on ANYONE they work harder to hide their money in tax-free investments (which removes it from the economy in general, lowering the number of jobs available for everyone). The total government income goes DOWN because there is less money available to tax.

When you lower tax rates people put their money in more prosperous investments (which creates more jobs), making more money available to tax.

History has proven repeatedly that the government's income goes UP when tax rates go DOWN. History has also shown that the rich pay a higher percentage of the government's total income when the tax rate is lower because a bigger percentage of their money is available to be taxed.

So lower tax rates means more money for the government, and more jobs for everyone else (which then creates more money for the government through more incomes to tax AND fewer people needing gov help).

The problem with liberal's economic ideas is that they seem to think we are all too stupid to change our behavior in response to their laws. They seem to think that if they tax $100 at 50% they actually get $50. What really happens, though, is that the owner of the $100 puts $50 into tax-free savings and the gov gets $25. If they tax the $100 at 25% the owner of the $$$ pays his $25, and invests that $50 into his business which creates two more jobs which are also taxed at %25, another 12% for the gov! EVERYONE wins!

Encourage marriage

(Please remember my son and his doctor in your prayers today. He is having surgery on his hand at noon)

'Encourage marriage for sake of children' says judge Sir Paul Coleridge to Duncan Smith | Mail Online

Children are our future, so whatever is best for them is best for us.

I wonder, though how much difference the government can really make. Oh, I have know a few people who wouldn't get married because of the financial hardships it would cause (mostly elderly people who would have less ss)

But the truth is our country has no idea what marriage is for, why it even exists.

Marriage is not for fulfillment, compaionship or any of the other reasons you hear out there. Those are the benefits, not the reasons.

Marriage is for:
  1. Raising godly children
  2. Mirroring God's relationship with the church.
When we keep these in mind, our marriages last. After all, the point never was to have great sex. Great sex was our reward for sticking out a relationship with a fallible human being in order to fulfill God's purpose.

If marrage was for the purpose of great sex than:
  1. The gays are right
  2. The polygamists are right
  3. Heck, the beastialitists (is that a word?) are right
  4. and anyone who isn't sexually happy has every right to chuck it all no matter what damage it does to the kids.
  5. In fact, kids just become inconvenient accidents instead of the point.
But that isn't God's design. His design is that it takes a daddy and a mommy working towards the common goal of pleasing God to raise healthy kids (and due to the laws of the universe that God wrote, if a couple raises kids in the way that pleases Him they will receive the benefits even if they don't believe He exists).

Marriage is much more important than entertainment. It is worth every minute of working on and everything we can do to support it and make it easier for couple to keep together.

(though I am very glad God rewards us with that great sex thing for our hard work:-)

Prayer request

I took my son down for an CT scan of his hand yesterday. The doctor called today (we were sceduled to go in tomorrow for the results.)

He wants to do surgery Thursday. The needle (the tip still in the hand) is pointing at a joint and will cause trouble down the road if we don't take it out now.

Please keep us and our doctor in your prayers.

(The needle just missed a major artery and nerves and the doctor is the best hand doctor in the area. Since we live in snow bunny land, that means he is one of the best- period.

THANK YOU GOD!)

6 Reasons Why I Do Not Trust The Mainstream Health Authorities

6 Reasons Why I Do Not Trust The Mainstream Health Authorities
I couldn't agree more. The more I research, the more I distrust the "Mainstream" no matter the subject. Every area of our lives has been affected (read that: controlled) by big business and the politicians in their pockets. Our economy has not been "capitalist" in decades. It is "crony-est."

This means all the news about anything health and medicine related has been tainted by money from the time of JD Rockfeller. Mr JDR wanted to corner the medicine market. Since he couldn't really compete on equal grounds with backyard meds (herbs) he set about to discredit them. It worked, too, not by using science as we would like to believe but by using propaganda.

Now, we have made great strides in many areas, especially in emergency medicine. I thank the Lord for this!

But all this information must be filtered through God's Word first (Jesus called eggs "a good gift" for example, and after years of calling eggs evil, the Mainstream is now changing it's mind to agree with Him.), then with history and logic and true scientific studies. Difficult, but necessary.

16 Things Not to Say to a Mom Planning a Home Birth | The Stir
4 hospital birth and 5 homebirths here. Much prefer home. Trust us, though, we've done our research and aren't putting our babies at risk. This is another area where profits for hospitals and protection for doctors from law suits has skewed what we "know." Answers to statements:
  1. I would never do that -- it's too unsafe. No, homebirth is not unsafe. Some studies say it's safer.
  2. Are you going to eat the placenta? No, and few mom's do (though in emergencies placentas are high in the hormones that stop bleeding so it is handy, but, uhhh, yuck.)
  3. If I'd have had a home birth my baby would have died because I had to have an emergency C-section. Most "emergency c-sections" are CAUSED by being in the hospital, so odds are that not only would your baby not have died at a homebirth but you would not have had to go through major surgery.
  4. Aren't you scared? Yes, but that was the same at the hospital as at home. In fact, my experience is that hospitals and doctors are so full of fear it's worse there.
  5. Ewww. I wouldn't want to clean up that mess. That is part of the midwives job:-)
  6. Does your midwife carry malpractice insurance? Unfortunatly, no. No insurance companies in this country will take them due to the bad publicity and propaganda from the AMA.
  7. What are you trying to prove? Nothing. Just trying to get a healthy baby.
  8. There was absolutely no warning that there was anything wrong with my son until after he was born. And your point is....?
  9. Are you going to home-school too? Actually, I homeschooled first.
  10. What do you have against hospitals? Nothing for sick people. Childbirth is not an illness.
  11. Does your [mom/husband/sister] know about this? Yep.
  12. What if you need drugs?! Women have birthed for thousands of years without drugs. I see no reason for for modern women to be different. And in my hospital births, the drugs didn't help. God provided for women in our hormone system just fine. We don't really need all that expensive interventions.
  13. I know a friend of a friend of a friend who had a home birth and her baby died. Sometimes babies do die at home. Sometimes they die in the hospital too. In fact, some studies say they are less likely to die at home.
  14. I wouldn't risk my baby's life by having a home birth. I wouldn't risk my baby's life by going to the hospital unless there was a VERY good reason or serious complication.
  15. I'm willing to pay for a hospital birth -- I don't care how much it costs. Insurance would have covered a hospital birth for our last 5 babies. We paid for the midwife out of pocket.
  16. How could you live with yourself if your baby died? I'll ask you the same thing.

Doctors Give Baby Zero Chance at Survival, He Gives Parents a Christmas Miracle | LifeNews.com

Doctors said this child would never live and should just be aborted. "Why put yourself through a pregnancy for nothing?"

The parents let their child live. The start was rough, but today he is a delightful 6yo child. Yes, he has Downs, but you know what? None of us is perfect. Imperfection shouldn't be a death sentence.

Why is 6 days important.

The Necessity for Believing in Six Literal Days - Answers in Genesis

Yeah, yeah, I know. I've been harping on this lately.

But this is a vitally important issue.

The only reason for God to have had for the Bible to be written was to give us information. If He used the wrong word or got it wrong in any way, He is not God.

Without God we don't need a savior.

The Foundation of the Bible is written on God being the Creator. Without this foundation we have no hope.

We must know the truth.

Things I want to say on FB but won't.

Why are you celebrating school starting? Don't you like your kids?

School is starting? Why are you still limiting education to the time frame most convenient for farmers 100 years ago?

You are praising the states that require drug tests to get welfare. Does that include Educational welfare (public school)? It doesn't? Why not? What's the difference?

Why does it offend you to help people eat but it doesn't offend you to pay to indoctrinate them into a socialist ("under state control"), atheist (a=without, theist=God) mind set?

So what are you doing with the money you should be spending on a godly education for your child? Drugs? Liquor? Cable TV? Bigger house?

You won't even look at the information on homebirth because you are more concerned with safety than the experience? Uhhh, yeah. And I carry a baby for nine months, go through morning sickness, leg cramps, hurting tendons, and exhaustion because I just want the experience of a homebirth. I'm not interested in getting a healthy baby at all. :-P

Of course we all know that all women died in child birth before hospitals were invented.

Why do I have to deprive my children of things in order to pay for your (senior citizen) doctor and retirement when  you very likely have a higher income and/or have your house paid off?

No, social Security has not been robbed. It has always functioned on the assumption that the increasing population would keep it solvent. Too bad our population is starting to drop.

Hello! God wasn't invented to take care of you! You were invented to worship God! (Oooo, I like that one! I might post it after all:-D)

No, You aren't so wonderful Jesus thought you worth dieing for. You (and I) are so EVIL we DESERVE TO GO TO HELL! That is why it is so neat Jesus loved us so much to die for us anyway!

Maybe God DIDN'T put that person into your life to bless you or help you. Maybe He did it to HELP THEM!

Naval Gazing is not an Olympic Sport. You can quit practicing now.

If you follow your heart, it will lead you straight to hell (and I can give you scripture for that one!)

Trust my heart? No thank you. I don't follow wishy-washy, evil, selfish people. I'll trust Jesus and His Word.

You have decided to not bring anymore eternal souls into the world to worship your God? Really?

You are going to take the pill or get "fixed?" Is that what God told you to do when you asked Him? "since I am not capable of stopping your womb from producing, you had better find a human to help you do that."???

Daycare- because we all know it's more important for a mature, competent adult to be "fulfilled" than for a helpless baby to be held, fed, cuddled, and changed whenever he needs it.

Thank you for tuning in to today's rant. We now return you to your normal programing.

Trust

One blog I read frequently asks God for a word of the year each January. Her word for this year is "Go."

It occured to me to do the same thing, and before the thought was hardly formed God gave me the word "Trust."

This is hard.

A little background.

I don't post a lot of personal stuff on the internet. First of all, you all probably aren't really interested in how many dirty diapers I change, snotty noses I wipe, or how many years I have been teaching phonics (20 by the way. This will be the first year in that long I have no one the right age to need some sort of daily phonics instruction. Weird)

Secondly, it really isn't your business:-) Our culture has kind of lost that distinction, but some things are precious enough to keep to yourself and those you actually look in the face.

But to summerize some of it, we are the type of family that doesn't run to the doctor for every little thing. I research and know the symptoms of real problems, understand that God designed our bodies to heal themselves if at all possible, and trust Hubby to have a clear enough head to know when something is serious by the information I give him (he isn't scatterbrained like I am:-) But in the last 18 months I have dealt with:
  • My Mom's emergency gallbladder surgery
  • My Mom's breast cancer (including surgery, chemo, and radiation)
  • My Dad's pneumonia
  • My Dad's severe hip pain (which he is still seeking treatment for. They ruled out the least invasive method yesterday.
  • Hubby's 2 month long bought with gout
  • 3 flues and a cold running through the children
  • My 15yo's appendix bursting with a 9 day hospital stay.
  • Hubby breaking his arm at work
  • One child breaking out in hives nearly everyday (It was after special prayer for her and for wisdom for me that I saw it was after she washed dishes she had her worst break outs. We now use hypoallergenic dish soap and I am working to replace all cleaners in the house with homemade versions that no one is allergic to.)
  • Close to 20 cavities discovered among my kids (we just now found a doctor that could take our insurance. First time in years.)
  • 2 kids need root canals. Now I have to start over finding another dentist, since this one doesn't do root canals.
  • 1 dc needs his wisdom teeth removed. This dentist doesn't do those either.
  • My 14yo put his hand down on a sewing needle which broke off in his hand. We are now waiting for insurance approval to have a CT scan and surgery to remove it (maybe). Meanwhile, his hand is wrapped like it's broke to keep him from moving it and the needle moving, possibly into a major artery or nerve.
  • My favorite uncle discovered he had liver cancer and passed away within two months, the Monday after Thanksgiving.
  • Add to this that before the economic crash Hubby got 54 checks and a small raise a year (his company believes in profit sharing) but since there hasn't been any profits in about 6 years. Since then we have only had 52 checks and one raise (and one of those years he only worked 4 days a week instead of 5), all while costs continue to go up. So things are a bit, uhhh, uncomfortable around here. (But he IS working, which is more than many in our church and community can say!)
  • The new insurance laws have me dealing with getting insurance for my oldest and I for the first time in years. Blahhh...
  • I am having some health concerns myself, though nothing I think is major (except the toothaches, but that won't be covered by the new insurance anyway.)
(most of this is in the last 6 months)

Through all this, my Hubby has been my rock. I have leaned on him, cried on his shoulder, yelled to (not at) him in frustration. He has held strong.

When the kids are sick, I explain to him what is going on and the options. He makes the main decisions.

Oh, I'm not perfect. I have times I just barge on ahead without really consulting him. I am always sorry when I do though.

So this year, God has called me to not only trust Him to love and guide and provide, but to trust my Hubby even more. To be more open to his God-given wisdom and perspective.

This is why God gave me my man. I need him very much. I don't know how I would do all this without him. This is what marriage is about; helping each other, being one team, not warring factions. Working together for the accomplishment of the goals God has given us.

Science and Big Pharm

NEJM editor: “No longer possible to believe much of clinical research published” | The Ethical Nag

If you want the truth, follow the money- always.

Our meds are prescribed by doctors (who attended schools largely funded by Big Pharm), and approved by the FDA (which is staffed by doctors with the above education and who often hold stock in Big Pharm or otherwise have interest in their financial well being), and funded by research fees from Big Pharm.

This is crony-ism at its worst. This is NOT capitalism. A truly capitalist system would force Big Pharm to publish their works and allow us to decide if we want a med or not. The gov's only role should be the enforcement of justice (i.e. life for life).

Study Confirms Link Between Autism and Use of Cells From Abortions in Vaccines
Guess I might be wrong. It's not the mercury causing the autism (though I still think it unwise to give a baby the RDA "safe" amount of mercury for a 400 pound man!)

I think I would prefer the mercury:P

Help, doc, I’m bored by boring things. I think I’ve got the ADHD! | The Matt Walsh Blog

So, do mental disorders exist? Sure. Absolutely. Of course. But if half of us have one, then I guess you can’t really call them disorders, can you? If the CDC and Big Pharma are to be believed — “mental disorders” are very much a part of the normal order of things.

The only thing worse than trying to control WHAT people think, is trying to control HOW they think. In this country, we do both. And then we have the nerve to claim we value “diversity” and “freedom.” We do everything in our power to eradicate diversity of thought and freedom of thought, even resorting to fabricating mental disorders to give us an excuse to commit a psychological genocide of entire personality types.

There’s no question that some people — myself included — think and behave in a certain way; a way that currently falls under the “ADHD” umbrella. The question is this: are these people “disordered”? Do they need medicine? Is there something WRONG with how they are?

Or should we help them explore and harness their different, complicated, wonderful minds? In the end, this is more of a philosophical question than a medical one. I know my answer. I encourage you to come up with your own.

NaturalNews exclusive: International Medical Council on Vaccination refutes vaccine propaganda with myth-busting report
Big Pharm's biggest money maker is vaccines. They have every incentive in the world to lie and talk the gov into using force to make people use their product.

Studies have shown that the MORE educated and the RICHER the parents the LESS likely they will vaccinate. This should tell us something.

Documents emerge proving Dr Andrew Wakefield innocent; BMJ and Brian Deer caught misrepresenting the facts
One of the original anti-vac doctors. This blogger lied about him. He took him to court for libel and won.

Gardasil researcher drops a bomb:
"This vaccine hasn't been tested on young girls and won't have any affect on cancer rates."

Also, more women will be permanently damaged from the vaccine than would contract cervical cancer!

Do research for yourself and look at all the evidence. Compare studies with history with God's Word with God's design.

We can't depend on Big Brother or any experts to take care of us, or even tell us the truth. We have to research for ourselves.

Force in education

Recently a woman wrote an article in the Slate actually saying that parents who put their child in any type of private education were evil.Jane Her logic is that if everyone put their children in public school then, after two or three generations, the public schools would begin producing excellent academic results. This is "Magic Think" at best. Somehow 2-3 generations of mediocre education is supposed to produce teachers, administrators and policy makers who can produce a superior education in children.

Yeah.

There have been enough articles tearing down this logic, so I won't go into it here. Anyway, there is something I find way more disturbing about the article;

The underlying assumption that parents choose private education solely for academic reasons.

Now part of that assumption is our (private educators) own fault. It is much easier to talk about test scores because they are easy to compare and qualify. It also puts us on the same wave-length as those who are of different religious beliefs. Everyone understands academics. Not everyone understands the religious underpinnings of education. After all, what IS education but a competition for the best grades and scores?

But the fact is that every parent I have ever known who stuck out private (including homeschool) education for more than two years did so for religious reasons. It was an act of worship to their God.
  • I believe Atheism is a religion, thus,
  • There is NO SUCH THING as a neutral education. If you are not actively teaching God, you are actively teaching no-God.
  • In order to obey my Bible I must give my child a Christian education, not the Atheist propaganda dished out in public schools.
Ephesians 6 says "Parents, don't frustrate you children to anger but raise them up in the culture and education of God."

God gives a child parents and siblings.

The State gives a child a teacher and peers.

The first is the culture of God. The second is the culture of man.

Even if the local PS had the highest academic performance, even if I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt they could give my children a better education (academically) than I could, I would still homeschool. It is an act of obedience to my God. It is the institution of His design, His culture in my home and my children's lives.

John J. Dunphy, author, poet:"I am convinced that the battle for humankind's future must be waged and won in the public school classroom by teachers that correctly perceive their role as proselytizers of a new faith... The classroom must and will become an arena of conflict between the old and new -- the rotting corpse of Christianity, together with all its adjacent evils and misery, and the new faith of humanism, resplendent with the promise of a world in which the never-realized Christian ideal of "love thy neighbor" will finally be achieved." - The Humanist magazine, Jan/Feb 1983

Dr. D. James Kennedy, founder of Coral Ridge Ministries (1930-2007): "I would say to you, dear friends, it may require some sacrifice, but I urge you to send your children to godly schools... to Christian schools that they might receive a godly Christian education. If you send them off to some public school, keep in mind that you are shooting dice with your children's eternal souls. It is a gamble that no Christian should be willing to make.

- Training Your Children Don't send an eight-year-old out to take on a forty-year-old humanist. ... I have never seen any more unhappy people than fathers or mothers who have come to me and said, "Where did we go wrong? We gave him everything, and now he's turned his back completely on everything we believe." Yes, you gave him everything but a Christian education." - Training Your Children

James R. Otteson, author, professor of philosophy and economics: "If it would be wrong for the government to adopt an official religion, then, for the same reasons, it would be wrong for the government to adopt official education policies. The moral case for freedom of religion stands or falls with that for freedom of education. A society that champions freedom of religion but at the same time countenances state regulation of education has a great deal of explaining to do.Freedom of Religion and Public Schooling

This ignoring of the fact of the religious reasons behind private education is, in fact, a 1propaganda technique called "Begging the question."

You leave out the foundational statement of your conclusions and proceed as if no one would ever question that foundation. It is very hard to spot that missing question and so people often form their own opinions based on a foundation they don't even believe in but don't realize is being used.

This assumption ("Parents privately educated for academic reasons.") will be the battering ram that will be used to remove our freedom to educate our children according to our own religion. Test scores will be brought up in public schools so that if you object to sending your child to that school you are viewed as nothing more than a bigot and a snob.

Academic incentives will be removed. No door will be left open for religious disagreement.

Christian parents hear me! If you don't start exercising your right to give your child a godly education TODAY you will not only loose that right, you will take mine away from me.

Con-Con

Our Federal Government is out of control.

They are taking more and more power to themselves. The real problem is, our government is ran by human beings who are all subject to the temptation and greed for power that all human beings are subject to. There is no way on earth they will give that power up voluntarily.

So we need to force them.

The best way to do this, of course, would be to elect people to office who want to pare the government down, but, unfortunately, these people would also be humans. After a while most "small government" people get corrupted by the system too.

 So what do we do?

I have heard call for a Constitutional Convention (Con-Con). I see this as incredibly dangerous. The odds of us coming out of such a thing with anything short of tyranny-by-committee (socialism) are incredibly slim. But the truth is we are about there anyway, so what do we really have to loose? Could we use a con-con to strip the feds back down to what our Founding Fathers originally intended?

Maybe.

We already have a Bill of Rights in our Constitution. I would like to see a Bill of Power Limits come out of a con-con:
  • All bills must be on no more than one, 8 1/2x11" sheet of paper. There is no reason for any issue to take more room than that, other than to confuse and obscure. If they can't get it all on one paper, break it up into two bills or use smaller words.

No bill may contain more than one subject. No more pork added to get someone votes.

No congressman gets a penny of pay until the budget is passed. All budgeting will be done with the same, straight type of bookkeeping normal people and businesses use, not the current type that is incredibly deceptive.

Congress will no longer be allowed to meet in person. Currently, if you are elected to office you must move to the DC area, by a new house, change your life. These are the richest zipcodes in the country! Once in office our representatives loose all contact with the very people they are supposed to be serving.

There was no choice to do it any other way when this country was founded. But today we have the technology that (for less than it costs to fly all the reps to DC!) all meetings and sessions could be held over the internet. Representatives should be required to keep living in the district they were elected by. This would force them to stay in touch with their voters and live in the mess they create. (Credit Rush Limbaugh with this idea)

And national security would be easier to boot! Whose idea was it anyway to put every important person to government in one building??? Spread them out! At least make the terrorists pay for 50 bombs to off them all instead of 1!

All congressmen must vote on every bill with the record being totally public (no voice votes). And they are required to prove they have actually read the bill. This is just plain morality.

Of course, our Constitution already says that "All (hu)men are created equal." This means that ALL laws apply to EVERYONE equally. But maybe we need to reinforce that with a statement that congress must obey any law they pass- no exceptions.

Term limits (1 term for senate, 2 for representatives). This would keep congress filled with people who live in the real world, not political fairy land.

Congregational pay should be 400% of the Median income (the number where half of America earns less and half earns more- about $51,00 right now.) This would include all bennies and they would have to pay all aids out of their own pocket.Right now, each congressman has an unlimited number of aids, each paid for by the taxpayer. So congressman's kids, spouses, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc all get pay checks IN ADDITION to what the rep gets himself. This is wrong. I think he may have all the aids he wants/needs as long as he pays for them out of his own salary.

Since politics would no longer be a permanent career, there should be no retirement package. Period.

Vouchers. We have all become dependent on the gove in many different ways. It would be fatal to just remove that dependance all at once. So instead, each area that the feds have taken over that they have no Constitutional authority to touch we need to offer ALL citizens a voucher, gradually reducing the amount until we are weaned off the Federal teat. This would include:
    • Energy programs
    • Healthcare (employer requirements should be removed to put the purchasing power back into the hands of the customer where it belongs, not some human resource officer.)
    • Education
    • Retirement
    • Farm subsidies
    • Business bailouts/incentives/subsidies
    • etc

The elderly would have the same purchasing power working people would have. They wouldn't need medicare.

Parents could send their children to the school that is best for the their own kids.

(EVERY industry ANY government in history has touched has had skyrocketing prices and plummeting quality. Medical cost began rising in this country at the same time the government became involved in insurance (medicaid, medicare) and we are seeing the same thing happen to education. There is no reason EVERY child in this country cant receive a private education, and it would be cheaper to boot!)

Social Security should be privatized (voucherized). As it stands now it is a pyramid that is fixing to fall because we are just not having enough babies to keep it right-side-up (1.8 babies for every 4 grandparents). But if we gradually moved to giving each person an account in their own name where they controlled their own retirement everyone would have the chance to have a much better retirement. I think it's Chili that has begun this and is having great success! The real problem is disability, but I haven't figured out how to solve that yet:-)

Parental and Patient rights. All individuals and parents have the right to contol their own and their children's education, medical care, etc. No exception except when sever abuse is proven in a court of law.

English only- definitely. that was settled at the founding of the country and shouldn't even be an issue now.

The Federal Government is only ALLOWED to do what is specifically named in the Constitution. This is already in there, actually, but needs to be restated. Also, if you read the context of every "common good" statement in the Constitution (the phrase used to excuse the gov doing anything it wants) it is obviously reffering ONLY to national defense (not welfare, healthcare, education, etc.). That needs to be clarified.

"Do all you agree to do"
"Do not infringe on the person or property of others." Politicians should take an oath of honesty before they take office. Than any lying, stealing or hiding facts is breaking the first law and deserves prison and loss of all benefits. Period. Course this should apply to all citizens:-)

The Right to Life for EVERYONE should be reaffirmed by extending it to the unborn. If we do not protect the weakest among us we can not expect protection for the rest of us.

Atheism is a religion. This should be acknowledged in order to stop the current take over of that religion in this country.

The government should be forbidden to have anything to do with marriage, one way or another. Why are they involved in the first place? Of course, its because of social security benefits. They need to know who to send the widow's check to. But if we replace SS with private retirement this becomes a non-issue, government wise. Each person appoints whoever they want to get their benefits when they don't need them anymore.

Same for custody of orphaned children. Parents could appoint this before each child is born. It's not the government's business. Removes a whole lot of problems by just getting the gove out of the wedding business in the first place.

Eliminate the FDA. It is so full of cronyism you can't believe a word they say anyway. There are more than enough private organizations and charities doing research and we all have access to it all through the internet now that we don't need Big Brother Doctor telling us what is good and what is bad.

In fact, we need to get rid of cronyism all together. The vast majority of laws that are passed "for the consumers good" are really passed to reduce competition. I don't know exactly how to word this, but it needs to be done.

    What else should be added?

Is Monogamy Normal

Matt answers the accusation that monogamy is unnatural.

Monogamy is unnatural | The Matt Walsh Blog

I would add that observation throughout history supports that monogamy is perfectly normal and beneficial to both parties.

Men and women in every culture throughout have formed permanent, exclusive relationships.

Of course, sinful deviants have also always existed. Mankind has always wanted his own way, has always tried to redefine the world on his own terms.

And you have to admit, the guy was asking for the closing statement.

Birth and Health

Hormonal Surge During Pregnancy Repairs Faulty Brain Signaling: Scientific American

Pregnancy is good for mamma!

Science is proving this more and more.

Gee, you would think a loving God designed women to give birth or something.
Certainly tucking baby in with you and dozing off is more natural than having to get up and make a bottle. God's way is better.

Science & Sensibility » Is Elective Repeat Cesarean Surgery Truly Safer Than Planned VBAC?
Uhhh, no.

Frederick Leboyer: 'Babies are overlooked in labour' | Life and style | The Guardian
Modern medicine treats baby like a parasite, not a human being.
"In Norway we found that the use of ultrasound in the population as a whole went down after everyone was offered one (all maternity care is completely free). Previously, you needed a medical indication, but the lack of a routine ultrasound seemed to increase the demand for ultrasound. It is an offer, not a recommendation, and is used mainly to date the pregnancy and check for twins and placenta praevia."

I had ultrasounds with my first 4 babies, not with the last 5. The lack of ultrasound (and some of the other standard tests) drasticly reduced my level of anxiety and fear.

These tests don't MAKE baby healthy and if you are pro-life (won't abort) there is seldom a real need for them.

The First Hour Following Birth: Don’t Wake the Mother! - by Michel Odent

A new study of homebirths vs hospital births

400+ Certified Proffesional (non-nurse)midwives, 5000+ moms

"Results
655 (12.1%) women who intended to deliver at home when labor began were transferred to hospital.

Medical intervention rates included
  • epidural (4.7%),
  • episiotomy (2.1%),
  • forceps (1.0%),
  • vacuum extraction (0.6%), and
  • caesarean section (3.7%)[c-section rates in the general population at this time were nearly 30%];
These rates were substantially lower than for low risk US women having hospital births. The intrapartum and neonatal mortality among women considered at low risk at start of labor, excluding deaths concerning life threatening congenital anomalies, was 1.7 deaths per 1000 planned home births, similar to risks in other studies of low risk home and hospital births in North America. No mothers died. No discrepancies were found for perinatal outcomes independently validated.
"Conclusions Planned home birth for low risk women in North America using certified professional midwives was associated with lower rates of medical intervention but similar intrapartum and neonatal mortality to that of low risk hospital births in the United States. ...

"Individual rates of medical intervention for home births were consistently less than half those in hospital, whether compared with a relatively low risk group (singleton, vertex, 37 weeks or more gestation) that will have a small percentage of higher risk births or the general population having hospital births (table 3).

Compared with the relatively low risk hospital group, intended home births were associated with lower rates of electronic fetal monitoring (9.6% versus 84.3%), episiotomy (2.1% versus 33.0%), caesarean section (3.7% versus 19.0%), and vacuum extraction (0.6% versus 5.5%). The caesarean rate for intended home births was 8.3% among primiparous women and 1.6% among multiparous women. ...

No maternal deaths occurred. After we excluded four stillborns who died before labour but whose mothers still chose home birth, and three babies with fatal birth defects, five deaths were intrapartum and six occurred during the neonatal period (see box). This was a rate of 2.0 deaths per 1000 intended home births.[the US average is around 7 deaths per 1000 births] The intrapartum and neonatal mortality was 1.7 deaths per 1000 low risk intended home births after planned breeches and twins (not considered low risk) were excluded. The results for intrapartum and neonatal mortality are consistent with most North American studies of intended births out of hospital11-24 and low risk hospital births (table 4).14 21 22 24-30 ...

"When the author compared 3385 planned home births with 806 402 low risk hospital births, he consistently found a non-significantly lower perinatal mortality in the home birth group. The results were consistent regardless of liberal or more restrictive criteria to define low risk, and whether or not the analysis involved simple standardisation of rates or extensive adjustment for all potential risk variables collected.22"

The Dangers of Epiddurals

Avoid epis (for birth) if at all possible. The best way to avoid epis is to avoid induction. Induced labor hurts more necessitating more pain relief. Avoiding epis also lowers your risk of c-section.http://www.sarahjbuckley.com/articles/epidural-risks.htm

"Norwegian recommendations state that ultrasound has not been shown to reduce mortality and morbidity, so that is not the reason for the offer. Of course, you can buy private services.

Another Norwegian study shows that parents who found out about malformations before birth had more severe and longer lasting negative psychological symptoms than parents who found out at birth or shortly after. This suggests that knowing may be worse than not knowing ahead of time, or that coping with a shock is easier than preparing for the worst."
— Sarah Margaretha Fogth Lindqvist, Facebook

(Emphisis Mine)

This doesn't surprise me a bit. Bad experiences are always worse when you have the time to anticipate them.

This is about right on the difference between an appointment with an OB and an appointment with a midwife.

State Bans Elective Inductions and C-Sections! Victory! | The Stir
Of course "elective" induction and c-section usually means  "elected by doctor who manipulated the woman" induction or c-section. For many reasons, inductions and c-sections are better for doctors (mainly, due to law suits).

My fear for our nation:

Ezekiel 16:
49  "Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy."

We know of course about the homosexuality and rape committed in Sodom.

But God says these were symptoms. The truly serious sins were pride, gluttony, and laziness. Plus they didn't help the poor.

Oh, God never commanded Israel to force the rich to give handouts to the poor. But He did tell them to "strengthen the hand;" insure justice for those who couldn't pay for it, make sure they could afford good education for their children, loan them money to start their own business, feed them from your own pantry until they get back on their feet.

Any nation that commits these sins will eventually degenerate into homosexuality and rape.

50 "And they were haughty, and committed abomination before Me: therefore I took them away as I saw good."

Sodom thought she was too good to follow God. That is why God destroyed her.

Are Americans Prideful? (think about all our "self esteem" attitudes)

Are Americans Gluttonous ? (need I ask? and not just of food, but entertainment, clothes, etc.)

Are  Americans lazy? (yep)

Do Americans keep the poor down by taxing their jobs away and giving them a biddling to live on instead, and THEN complaining about lazy people who "won't" work?

Do Americans insist that poor children must attend the lowest quality education available in our nation? (Does ANYONE still believe PS is a quality education? How much better if we would give the poor food and homeschool materials so their children have a chance out?)

We're in trouble people.

A gay man’s take on Phil Robertson and the A&E controversy | Solus Christus

A gay man’s take on Phil Robertson and the A&E controversy | Solus Christus
This man has it right on. Tolerance means tolerance for everyone, even if you disagree with them.

(Announced today is the fact that A&E has backed down and reinstated Phil and DD)
Articles: Reality Bites Gays
No one really wants to discuss the realities of the gay lifestyle. We just all pretend that they don't do anything differently than the rest of us, though they simply don't have the correct equipment to do so. Then when someone points out the differences and the fact that the "gay life" is, in fact, far more violent and shorter, everyone goes ballistic.

If you want me to accept you as you are at least be honest about what you are. Don't make up a fairytale and then expect me to buy it.
But seriously, why is polygamy still illegal? | The Matt Walsh Blog
Good question.

Try this:
Explain why polygamy is wrong without making homosexuality sound wrong too.

When our country kicked God out we got rid of all the reasons for marriage. What is left is of ten nothing more than a joke. That's where Christians lost this battle; when we accepted the world's ideas about what the point of marriage is and the (lack of) differences between men and women.

If we want to reclaim our culture (and this is the foundation of all cultures) we must restore the biblical view of marriage and sex.

Period.

As the family goes, so goes the economy

As the family goes, so goes the economy

It has been an accepted fact throughout human history that no country is stronger than the marriages that make it up.

When we began to redefine marriage in our country, we cut our own throat and are now about bled to death.

Want to restore the country? Restore Marriage.
