I was given this book by a friend when she cleaned off her shelves. I would now buy it if I needed too.
The author, Lee Strobel, was an investigative journalist with a law degree and an atheist. There came a point in his life when he felt he needed to take on the biggest "case" in history, the story of Jesus Christ. He did his research in the anti Jesus literature and made a list of questions and "problems." Then he researched what the experts in the Christian community answered each objection wtih. He consulted archeologists, coroners, psychiatrists, scholars and anyone else he could find.
His conclusion: "It would take more faith to continue to believe atheism than to believe in Jesus Christ."
He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
The Bible tells us "and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:" (1 Peter 3:15)
Every Christian should read this book so they can do just what this scripture says.
Every non Christian should read this book to make sure they have made the right choices in not believing. Afterall, your eternal destiny depends on it.

Thank you so much for commenting! I love to talk to my readers.
I do ask that there be no anonymous commenters, though. If I am brave enough to put my name on this blog, you should be too:-)
Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
