Recipe For An ADD Child

· Take one normal boy (some girls will work, but boys are more reliable).
· Zap his brain with unnatural sound waves before birth.
· Feed him on nutrient-free stimulants (white sugar, caffeine, white flour), preferably from birth.
· Refuse to teach self-control and self-discipline, giving him everything he wants. It will work even better if you first tell him No and then let him argue you out of it.
· Make sure he only considers his feelings and never considers how others may feel.
· Lock him in a room with thirty other children and one teacher who (due to small family sizes) has never been around small boys.
· Tell the boy to sit still for six hours without making noise, preferably with brain-cell destroying TV in front of him.

The earlier you begin ADD training, the better the results. Enrollment in a daycare at birth will produce the most extreme results.

Recipe for a non ADD child

· Take one normal child of either sex.
· Give them the most natural, intervention free pregnancy and birth possible.
· Feed him breast milk exclusively for as long as possible then with all natural, chemical free, unprocessed foods.
· Teach him from a very young age to control himself, obey without question and listen to directions.
· Give him everything he needs, some things he wants and a few things he desires. Make sure he understands the difference.
· Teach him that others feel as he would if he were treated that way. Teach him to empathize.
· Let him run outside for a couple of hours everyday. The more and freer the physical activity the better.
· Limit all time looking at electronics.
· Teach him at home where the same amount can be accomplished in two hours that takes six in a traditional school.
· Tolerate a little noise most of the time.

Again, the earlier, the better.

ADD is a real conditon that afflicts some. However, I firmly believe that 90% of those diagnosed with ADD or ADHD (or what ever letters they are calling it this year) have been harmed by environmental factors and/or bad child rearing techniques. I don't think it is an accident that this illness was discovered at the same time the first generation raised on artficial breast milk (formulas), soda, TV and with no discipline hit the government schools.

Thank you so much for commenting! I love to talk to my readers.

I do ask that there be no anonymous commenters, though. If I am brave enough to put my name on this blog, you should be too:-)

Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
