The David Mamet Interview

The David Mamet Interview

"The rabbi was talking about political civility, and he said it's in the Judeo-Christian tradition that before you criticize someone you have to sit down with them and restate their position to them such that they'll say, "Yes, that's what I mean," and then they have to state your position to you so that you say, "Yes," so you both agree that you understand what the positions are, then you each introduce your facts."

Ok, so, feminists, let's see if I've got it right:

Taking care of the home is brainless work.

Raising children is drudgery.

Children are problems to be dealt with.

Men have fun and fullfillment in the workforce.

Women should be in the workforce doing the same things as men.

Let me know if this is right or not.

Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
