Fresh Eggs Daily: Growing Sprouted Fodder for your Chickens plus Chick
Thinking of trying this. It would solve some major problems we have, such as not being able to actually grow plants here (clay soil held together with rocks and sagebrush, freezes in July, dehydrating winds and the local population of quail, sparrows, jack rabbits, and mustangs...yes...I said mustangs. They have been known to eat both our garden and feed stores.) Bought feed is so expensive. And are we really growing a healthier food for ourselves if we are feeding the same commercial garbage the factory farms use?

Thank you so much for commenting! I love to talk to my readers.
I do ask that there be no anonymous commenters, though. If I am brave enough to put my name on this blog, you should be too:-)
Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
