Simple math says women in combat is a bad idea.
If all but one man in the country was killed, the country could still go on.
If all but one woman is killed, our country dies.
By design of biology and biology's God women are more valuable. Feminist tend to try to pretend there is no difference, but you just can't change biology.
In fact, the whole issue is rife with a denial of biology:
Men are stronger due to denser muscle mass.
Men are more agressive.
Men aren't as squimesh.
Men dont' have certain hygene issues.
Men are not nearly as vulnerable to certain torture methods used on prisoners of war.
God designed men to do what is necessary when war is enevetable, while He designed women to nurture babies.
Wishful thinking and magic talk simply will NOT change those facts.

I married when I was 18 and hubby was 20. We have grown up together and formed each other into what we are today. I highly recommend early marriage.
Our current idea to postpone marriage until nearly 30 is based on the disdain our culture has for traditional marriage. They hate the God-designed marriage and want to do everything they can to avoid it for as long as they can.
Looking at the facts, the average American enters puberty at, say, 13. We expect that person to live from 13-25 or 26 without finding a mate. Christians are worse, in fact, than than the world. The world at least acknowledges that these young adults want sex and provide a way for them to get it. "Just don't get pregnant."
Christians expect their children to go for 13-15 YEARS without sex after being old enough to have the hormones driving them to it.
This is not doing unto others as you want done unto you!
Young adults need a mate to grow up with and express that wonderful part our human nature God put in us but reserved for marriage.

Seriously, she went out of her way to say that she regretted not having more children.
Feminists have caused many women to miss out on what they want the most:
A good marriage and babies.
