How Abortion Has Changed the Discussion of Miscarriage Scissortail SILK
"
It’s time to change the discussion of miscarriage – by starting one.
It is time to acknowledge the loss of neonatal life as…life… It is time
to stop expecting women and men who have experienced miscarriage to stay
silent in their own pain.
They have lost a child."
When people ask me how many kids I have, I say nine like I am expected to. The truth is I am the mom of 13. But people don't understand, and to try to explain that 4 of my babies died before I got the chance to hold them is too painful. So I take the easy way out and say 9. This is a disservice to my babies, though. They deserve to be remembered.

Thank you so much for commenting! I love to talk to my readers.
I do ask that there be no anonymous commenters, though. If I am brave enough to put my name on this blog, you should be too:-)
Please keep it civil. Remember we are all human and make mistakes, and that since we can't see each other's faces or hear each other's tone of voice, it is very hard to get the emotion in what we are saying each other. Use lots of emoticons! :-) And show grace and love to each other.
